Managing Director
Graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1980 and started his career with the Company soon after. His responsibilities include tender preparation, negotiating with clients, purchasing, procurement and the appointment of Sub-contractors and specialised agencies as well as overseeing of particular projects.
Mr. Kaiyoze B Billimoria
Director
A member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, he joined the Company in 1982 and since May 2012 has ceased to have operational and executive responsibilities. He now spearheads the efforts of the Company to constantly improve and upgrade its systems and processes, implement methods to control resources and ensure that the management information system provide visibility to the management and to the Board of Directors on the performance of the Company.
Mr. Monesh Bhansali
Director - Finance
A fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has vast experience in the fields of auditing, accounting, finance, taxation and Companies Act, 1956. Mr Bhansali joined the Company in April 2007 as CFO and was appointed as Director – Finance with effect from 1st April 2012. He is responsible for handling the finance, accounts, treasury, foreign exchange and taxation functions of the Company.
Mr. Jeet D. Kapadia
Management Executive
A multi-faceted personality with B.Tech., M.S. from Columbia possesses in-depth knowledge on the following: High Density Microconcrete, Urbanisation and High-rise construction. He now spear heads the Companies various initiatives including the development
of pre-cast technology.
Mr. Kiran I Hingorani
Non Executive Director
A Commerce Graduate from the University of Delhi with over 20 years of experience in the business of development and construction of commercial and residential buildings in Mumbai.
He is also engaged in the business of supplying and installation of Broadcasting Equipments and Software related thereto, under the firms name Shaf Broadcast Private Limited. The Company has supplied and installed Broadcast Equipments and set up several TV Broadcasting Studios for Prasar Bharati (Doordarshan), Star TV, Sahara TV, Zee TV, etc.
Mr. Pankaj Thapar
Non Executive Director
A Commerce Graduate and holding Master of Business Administration in FMS from the University of Delhi, Mr Pankaj Thapar is the Managing Director within the Private Equity Group of Everstone Capital Advisors. Prior to joining Everstone, he worked with Dentsu Marcom as CFO – Indian Arm of Japanese and Global Advertising Major where he was responsible for their business in India. He has held a variety of senior corporate finance roles with global companies such as Coca-Cola, ANZ Bank, Citibank and ICICI and has over 20 years of exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets.
Mr. Dhanpal Jhaveri
Non Executive Director
A Commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from Babson College, Graduate School of Business in the United States.Mr Dhanpal Jhaveri is the CEO of Everstone Investment Advisors.
Mr Dhanpal Jhaveri is the Director of Centrum Capital Limited & Teestavalley Power Transmission Limited. He has worked with Future Capital Holdings Limited as Executive Director, and Vedanta Resources (India's largest metals and mining business) as their Director of Corporate Strategy. He has been the Head of Investment Banking of ICICI Securities and Executive Director at KPMG (Partner).
Mr Dhanpal Jhaveri has over 16 years of experience in corporate finance and strategy and is involved in transactions especially in the areas of natural resources and energy.
Mr. Vijay Choraria
Non Executive Director
A Chartered Accountant and Bachelor of General Law, Mr.Vijay Choraria is the Promoter and Director of Sharyans Resources Ltd (an NBFC listed on the BSE and NSE) and Prebon Yamane ( India ) Ltd (a JV with Tullett Prebon operating in debt, forex and credit derivatives). He has been actively involved in the financial & real estate market for more than 20 years. He is on the Board of several reputed companies including JMC Projects ( India ) Ltd (construction & infrastructure contracts), SAI Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd (project mgt consultancy), Collins Stewart Inga Pvt. Ltd. (Investment Banking), Mukta Arts Ltd (media and entertainment) and Whistling Woods International Pvt. Ltd (an institute for films, TV and media).
Mr. Sarvesh M. Soman
Chief Operations Officer – Western Region
A qualified Civil Engineer from the Pune University and with an Executive PG Diploma from IIM Kozhikode. With over 20 years of professional experience in Construction, Infrastructure and Real Estate, he now has a unique blend of expertise in functions of Corporate Management, Project Management and Design & Development. He has worked for over 14½ years in L & T before joining a Hyderabad based Construction and Real Estate major. He joined BEB Group in July 2011 and has since been responsible for the operational functions of Western Region.
Mr. B. Singaravelu
Chief Executive Officer – Southern Region
A qualified Civil Engineer having joined the Company in July 2011. He has spent early part of his career acquiring considerable expertise in construction projects and has an experience of over 30 years. He worked for L&T Chennai between 1985 to 1994 and then proceeded abroad where he worked in Bahrain and Qatar until 2009. Prior to joining our Company he was working for L&T Chennai. He is responsible for the operational and executive functions of the Southern Region.
Mr. Amit G. Deshpande
Chief Financial Officer – North
A Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of professional experience in Mumbai and Dubai. Associated with the Company for the last 10 years for various assignments, including CFO of Gammon & Billimoria LLC , a joint venture between the Company and Gammon India Limited. He has acquired expertise in Strategy Planning , Accounts and Finance , Sub-Contracts Finalisation & purchases , Human Resources & General Administration.
Mr. M.O. Shah
Vice President – Procurement - Projects
Is a Civil Engineer and joined the Company in 1976. His experience extends to the independent supervision of the construction of industrial, residential and commercial buildings. He has also had considerable experience of heavy engineering works including bridges and dams and is currently responsible for overseeing the Tender Department of the Company.
Mr. S.N. Bhat
Vice President – Operations
Is a Civil Engineer and prior to joining us he worked for Hindustan Construction Co. Limited. He is responsible for the operational functions of the Company.
Mr. D.A. Chemburkar
General Manager - Pune
Is a Civil Engineer and a member of the Institute of Engineers and joined the Company in 1973. He left the Company in 1979 and having rejoined as Senior Engineer in 2001, he has had varied experience of construction work including project planning, coordination and monitoring.
